twin seastar HC5345-3 hydraulic cylinders 8.34” cu in (136.6cc) x2 cylinders - approx 17 cu in

The octopus variable Piston pump AF1212 looks suitable size for my system, and NP300 with max amp 19amp.
however is not listed in the Navpilot300 pump list FAQ/ install manual.
Is it not recommended? Does it require a geared pump? Going around in circles trying to not overpower the system with too high a flow rate pump and avoid the extra cost of NP711C

The pumps we recommend are under Accessories-Autopilot Pumps on the NAVpilot 300 page here: https://furunousa.com/en/products/navpilot_300

To properly size the pump use the ram size. Based on the 17 cu in ram size you mentioned, the only one on that list is the PUMPOCT-16-12.

The amperage is 10A continuous and 20A for 5 seconds for the pump. This is listed in the Operator's Manual - Specifications section.

okay thanks, is there any issues or guidance on interfacing with a Simrad NSS EVO3s nmea2000. For nav guidance. I think i will go to the 711c.

has there been any improvement on Suzuki Fishhunter drive installation issues requiring a SMD unit?
