Nav Pilot Software Upgrade ?

I have a Nav Pilot 300 installed and am curious about software version upgrades. I assume that if Furuno puts out a new version it is either to add a feature or correct a problem ? If so, can the upgrade be user installed ? If so, how can this be accomplished ?

The latest software you should note on the 300 pilot is: 1:09/1:05 on the controller, and 1.08 on the processor. You can update it yourself with a jump drive. For starters head on over to the support page for the pilot for software and instructions. If you run into a jam, let us know or call technical support, or send in the control head to our service repair center and Furuno will do it and turn it around for you.

Thank You, I believe I am good for now. My unit was purchased in late 2021 and I will look next time I use it but the version #s look familiar.
