Missing Radar Overlay

Using actual Maxsea V2.04 with tztouch and Radar. No Problems in the past, I was able to Switch Radar on/off and Change the range etc etc etc.

Tested it again after Updating to the 3.12 Firmware of the tztouch. I dont know if it is coinsidence but I lost Radar overlay in Maxsea. I can still controll the Radar via the Software (on/off) but now overlay anymore.

Any hint is wlcome

Heading is a requirement for radar overlay. It sounds like your PC is not getting heading.

I will check that next time on the boat. But I have had always Hdg and the Installation wasnt modified. But thanks for the hint.......

checked it, hdg and everything is fine, but no Radar overlay.

any other idea??

Radar must be transmitting BEFORE trying to select overlay.

Well, in the past I could Switch on/off whenever I wanted. tried xou advice but no Change, I can Switch the Radar on/off and do everything like in the past, only Thing is missing is the Radar Display

Well, at least I found a Workaround.

My Nav-PC is connected to the Navnet via Ethernet and to my Router for Internet Access via wifi. If I disable the wifi-connection I get Radar overlay back.

The "funny" Thing is that I didnt Change anything but updating the Firmware of the TZT.

Perhaps the Software development guys made some changes regarding the handling of the Radar data??

It think it has more to do with the shared resources that many PCs use for Ethernet and Wi-Fi adaptors. I am glad you found the cause.
