GP330B/0183 Install

Hi,

Going to install my new GP330B tomorrow, looks like I can just unscrew the old unit and plug the new one into the same cable 0183. Will it boot up and program itself or do I need to install new software. Couldn't see any reference to that in the instructions. Thank you for any help, Fish

Are you replacing an existing GP330B/0183? The older GP320B is not the same and it has no connection or break in the cable.

Hi, I'm replacing an older GP320B so I assume I need to replace the cable ? I have the 0183 cable that came with my new GP320B

You should replace the cable; but if you can't, it is possible to cut and splice them. They match up mostly color for color other than the GP330B Orange goes to GP320B Green.
