Recently purchased a GP1971F and would like to link it to my lowrance elite FS so that I can use the GP1971 predominantly as a sounder and the elite for mapping.
Thinking the NMEA 2000 cable between the 2 will transfer the waypoints across but will I also need to change a setting on either the furuno or the lowrance as I believe they each send/receive waypoints as different data?
