Importing .GPX files to GP1971

Need to import(for the first time) a .gpx file into my GP1971F of a route containing a series of waypoints(Lon/Lat). When I load the file utilizing the File Management process, will the new waypoints, and route simply appear in my route list or point list, if the import process is successful?

You will get a popup message stating that the import was successful.

Thanks but my question is, will the new route and it's associated waypoints, simply be added to my "point" or "route" list?

If you are importing a route then it will show up on the TZT under routes
