GP1971F Bottom Discrimination Transducer

Will the 525T-LTD work with bottom discrimination on the GP1971F? I have one in my boat already and the BD works with my TZT2 but it isn’t listed as a BD ducer on the GP1971 support page. Thanks.

Each sounder is different. It is always best to consult the transducer compatibility guide for the product in question.

That’s a great reference. According to the chart the b60 (525T-LTD) does have BD feature along with accufish and rezboost. You might want suggest Furuno update that on the GP1971F page, it currently isn’t under the BD transducers. Thanks again.
