GP-1871 does not recognize microSD card

This problem is similar to another thread.
The 1871 is a terrific chart plotter. I want to import routes.
I use Coastal Explorer (Rosepoint) on my computer for long distance planning. Computer works the way it is supposed to - I have a SanDisk Ultra micro SD card and upload the routes in GPX format, but when I insert the SD card in the chart plotter, it does not recognize the SD card. Doesn't matter whether I try to import, export, or save screenshot - I just get a message that there is no SD card inserted. Have tried turning unit off, taking card out and reinserting, etc. Please advise.

Is the card larger than 32GB? Cards larger than 32GB is not allowed.

Thank you... I did not see that in the manual...was using a 64, will reorder 32.
