FURUNO FCV 585 + GPS LOWRANCE HDS / NMEA 2K

Good afternoon, I own a sonar FURUNO FCV 585 and would like to connect it with my GPS LOWRANCE HDS 7considering that the GPS input is via NMEA cable 2k, would someone have a connection scheme? or any tips on how to proceed? thank you all.

The input as well as output of the FCV585 is NMEA0183.

Perfect, I know, but the GPS input is N2k there is my doubt, how to make the connection.

First you would purchase a NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 converter to bridge the two types of data. (Like the Furuno IF-NMEA2k2) Next to connect anything NMEA 2000; you must have a NMEA 2000 bus. If your Lowrance doesn't have an established NMEA bus with an open connection for your converter, you must add the bus or an extra tee (whichever is needed). You can get NMEA 2000 bus starter kits from most marine dealers. Furuno USA sells one (AIR-033-745) that you can order from your Furuno dealer.
