Furuno Autopilot and Yamaha Optimus Power assist steering

Just wondering if Furuno makes an autopilot that is compatible with Yamaha and Teleflex Optimus power assist steering?

At this time, we do not offer an Optimus Interface. We are just finalizing the Yamaha Helm Master Interface, but the Teleflex Optimus interface is still in the development stage.

darn, thats what I gathered but just wanted to double check. Thanks for the reply. Is there a company that makes power assist steering for Yamaha that Furuno is compatible with?

If you are still talking Yamaha Optimus, It is proprietary and I doubt there are any other steering systems. The normal Sea Steer and other hydraulic steering and actuator systems are all normally no problem for the Furuno. It is only some of these new systems that are requiring special interfaces.
