Fish finder

Looking to upgrade my electronics on my sportfish.

I am looking at the TZ touch 14. My electronics guy has quoted a DFF1 UHD,DFF1,B265LH .

My question is whether I need the DFF1 with the DFF1 UHD?
If i do, would a DFF3 be a better combination and with what transducer???

The DFF1 is our 1kw 50/200Khz sounder module and the DFF1-UHD is our Chirp module. They are separate units so you need one or the other. What type of fishing do you do, how deep and how big is your boat?

Snips it is a 08 43 egg Harbour sportfish. The boat stays in the Bahamas for the summer. I fish for billfish and deep drop for grouper, snapper etc in 500 to 3000 feet

For fish on the bottom i.e. Grouper/Snapper I would favor an R-209. For mid-water billfish I prefer the wider beam of a CA28F-8 (1Kw) or the CA28BL-6HR (2Kw).
