FCV 587 Transducer Connection

FCV 587 w/ transom mount transducer loosing data/functionality.
Sometimes loose bottom. Sometimes track bottom but no temp, Accu, or bottom readout. Push or pull on 'ducer plug and features will come and go. Problem with 'ducer wire or unit plug point? :questions

Hard to say without seeing the connection. I would disconnect the transducer plug and look to see if the pins in the socket are nice and shiny. If not, that could be your issue.

Can the pins and plug be cleaned?

It really depends how bad they are. The pins will easier to try and clean than the plug. Sometimes just seating and unseating the plug is enough to get you by for a while.
