Fcv-585 it turns off by itself

Hi i Have a fcv 585 sounder and it turns off by itself, I have connected directly to a battery in good condition to test and turns itself off, What could be the problem?

Good morning Calademar,

It is really hard to say what the issue is with out investigating the unit. If you have tried an isolated battery and that did not fix the issue, did you try using a new power cable? There could be an issue with the power cable or plug on the end of the power cable. It would be best to make arrangements with an Authorized Furuno Dealer in your area for evaluation.

Had the same problem and removed the in-line tube fuse and replaced it with a blade fuse. No problems since.
