FCV 1150 transducer guidance

HELLO, Thinking of adding a 1150 for bottom fishing in 80-250ft. Looking for transducer suggestions for a 33 power cat. Looking for recommendation for showing bottom hardness. Thanks

If your not going deeper than 250ft, I would tell you that the FCV1150 is wayyyyy overkill for that depth. Have you looked at doing hardness from the FCV800?

I agree with Sparky Wire—the FCV295/FCV1150 was designed as a 1–2–3 kW light commercial fish finder. Based on your fishing needs, I would recommend considering the FCV800 as a better fit.

To be clear do you need to see hardness on the unit because the FCV1150 won't do that. It offers a hardness out to go to something like OLEX.
