I have a problem with the fish finder mode in my Xder165T-B54/DFF3D operation. The 3D mode, SOG,Temp etc.
seems to be functioning fine,but when I attempt a bottom reading whether in slip or offshore in motion, I get a
screen as shown in the attached pic. The image starts at surface then pulses increasing increments of depth down to 4000 ft.
Going back to setting up the Xder in all the measurements of position/location
is it possible to incorectly input them to cause these results? Also since i did not install a sat compass or a dedicated
GPS antenna does the MFD itself become the default for position/location in the schem of these measurements on set up?
As per install instructions, I did not cut either input line to DFF3D black box. Because of a short run of less than 10 feet
from Xder to Black box, i had to coil the lines up in a under drawer location. Is it possible that coiling these conductors can cause
the fish finding display to be unstable as such?
When setting favored gesture screens on top how do you find the plus (+) button when it seems to have disappeared?
