Hi, I have a dff3 and tzt2 which I am trying to hook up a 200b-8b. I was wondering which pins do the transducer wires go to. Also what dip switch settings and tap setting I should be running. Thanks

Wiring is show on page S-1 of the DFF3 installation manual. Before you wire it, what is being connected to the LF side? The DFF3 is a dual freq sounder it normally needs both the low and the high transducer. Are you trying to run this with only one transducer?

As far as tap settings, the matrix sheet says tap C for that transducer. The matrix sheet is posted on the website under the DFF3 product page.

Thanks for the help Johnny

I have wired the 200b up.

For the low side I was planning on a 82b-35r which I have to purchase. I also have the option of a ca88b-10 but I’m unsure of the difference.

Thanks

The CA82B-35R has a wide bandwidth of 65kHz-110kHz so you are not locked into one freq. The other is locked in at 88Khz. When both are ran at 88khz, you will find the CA82B-35R has a slightly narrower beam than the CA88B-8.
