DFF3 vs DFF1UHD

Presently have a 1150 with a R209 ducer as the main unit. I have a DFF1 with a B45 attached to the Navnet 3D. I am primarily looking for mid-water fish ( bait, tuna) at less than 300 feet. I want to upgrade to a higher performance wide angle ducer (high and low) and have been looking at the new B275LHW with a 25 degree angle on high & low. I understand that it can be used with a DFF-3 as a non-chirp transducer. I was wondering if you have any experience with this ducer ( or the B265LH) being used on a DFF-3. That is, how would the DFF-3 compare to the DFF-1UHD running the same transducers? ( B265LH or 275LHW) ?

Thanks

Thanks for the help today. I am leaning towards the 556TID-HWD attached to the DFF-1.

One other question on the 1150 with the R209 transducer. Is there a switchbox that can be used with the high power transducers? The Airmar switch specs say they are only for 1kw sounders.

Thanks

42Duffy,
Since they is really no current involved I have used double pole toggle switches for transducers in the past.
