Does the DFF 1 work with the Airmar Chirp transducers that are currently available? I understand furuno doesn't have Black box chirp today but want to be sure their FUTURE release will work with the transducers that are out today.

Grady,
Thank you for your question. From our testing we can't recommend using a DFF1/MB-1100/B265LH combination, too much signal loss. A better combination would be to use a B-260 with the DFF1.

Thank you Snips,
Is the signal loss only at the 50 versus the 200 as i read this on the support site. I only fish in150 ft or so and use 200 mostly anyhow. Will the new units you have coming out support these existing chirp transducers or will they require a different kind of chirp transducer.

Grady,
At this time, the first one is slated to use the B265LH.

Thank you Snips,
Any idea what the Blackbox is slated for?

Grady,
At this point we all hope it's sooner than later, the engineers are working hard putting the finishing touchs on the stand alone version. Getting this one right out of the gate will go along way in proofing the BB version.
