Good evening. I have a rdp-139 it is running navnet navtronics with a 36 nautical mile radar a 6/10 network Sounder and a p66 transducer I also have a pg1000 heading sensor I'm running a 310b GPS everything works great as it should I just picked up a rdp-143 running c maps. My question is this if I put the GPS on the 143 and use it as my navigation and use the 139 as a Sounder/ radar standalone unit can I remove the navnet card in the 139 and then connect the 143 to the 139. Will the 139 then become a monitor for the 143 running C maps. Is this possible if so what would I need to do it. Thank you very much for any help

You can not put a Navionics chart card into a C-map machine and have it read data or vice versa. It is okay to mix the two types on the same network but they won't share chart data with each other.

Okay so if I run the 143 with cmap's and the 139 with navnet is there anyway to import the GPS signal from one unit to the other. Or would I have to run a separate GPS antenna for each unit?

When you properly set them up, GPS can be shared over the network. You don't need a GPS on both as long has you have them properly networked.

That is outstanding is there any way that you could point me in a direction where I can find networking a C maps and navtronics unit to share GPS data.
is this going to be a simple as connecting a wire from one unit to the other or do I need to incorporate a hub?
Thank you so much for this information

You would network them together just like two C-map units would be configured. The setup is covered in the installation manual but if you get stuck, I recommend calling tech support while you are at the boat. If you have more than two network items you must have a hub. Meaning if you have these two displays and a network sounder (three total items) then you need a network hub. If you only have these two displays and no other network item (two items) then you can use a blue cross over cable between the network on both units to make the connection.
