Bubbles

Took the cover off my tzt today and I have a couple small bubbles behind the glass. My console is totally enclosed and not exposed to environment. Any ideas as to why? I’ll upload photos

I just saw there was a thread below regarding this. Is there a repair place in Canada or just better to mail to Furuno USA.

If it is under warranty (two years), I would recommend contacting your closest Furuno Dealer. If it is outside of warranty; I would send it to the Furuno Service Center.

Thanks! i will be pulling the boat for the season this week and I will send it in. Is there any forms I need to fill out to identify the problems? Secondly, I would like to have the freezing of the sonar looked at. When I try to run the sonar from my tzt2 on my tzt it freezes on the tzt. Thanks for the prompt response.

No RMA required, just send it in with a letter describing what you want evaluated and they will call you after they evaluate it.

I had the same thing happen to both my TZT14s. They were out of warranty but they still fixed them. I guess there was a manufacturing issue. Furuno is very good. Shipping cost with insurance was outrageous thru UPS, like $375 a unit. But Furuno also updated the software. So it was well worth the expense and trouble to pull the units and ship them off. Than you Furuno. A class act.

I know this is an older chain but just wanted to be sure Johnny's comment still applies regarding where to return for repair. Both of my TZTouch 14" displays pretty much developed bobbles at the top-right display corner at the same time. Do I still send them to the address listed above? Are these fixed under warranty?

Thank you

If the unit's are under warranty, it is repair repaired as such. Some special programs are in place for anyone outside of warranty. I recommend you contact tech support with the serial numbers to check status and details prior to sending in.
