AIS target bearing in the AIS info menu

I am receiving AIS data from my VHF radio to my TZT16F. When I compare my target information on my VHF radio to my TZT16F display target information everything is matches except for the AIS bearing. From my research it appears that the TZT16F will only display the AIS target bearing in Relative bearing while my VHF will only display it in True/Magnetic. From my understanding there is no way to change this in the TZT16F system. So, my questions are:

Am I correct in the AIS target information displayed on the TZT16F is only displayed in Relative bearing, and there is no setting to be able to change this?

If I was to lose heading input to my TZT16F system would the AIS target bearing information change to True bearing in the AIS target information?

If someone could either verify or correct me on a couple things for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You are correct.
If you lose heading, COG would be used in its place to determine relative bearing, if it provides bearing at all. COG requires 4 knots or better.
