Hello,
I have twin 2008 Honda 150 outboard motors that are just prior to being NMEA 2000 compatible.
My electronics include the following:
FUMFD12 Furuno MFD12 NavNet 3D 12" Multifunction Display
FUGP330B Furuno GP330B NMEA2000 NavNet GPS Receiver
FUHUB101 Furuno HUB101 Ethernet Hub
FUDRS4D Furuno DRS4D NavNet 3D 24", 4kw Digital Radome
FUMFD12 Furuno MFD12 NavNet 3D 12" Multifunction Display
FUDFF1 Furuno DFF1 Digital Fishfinder Box
FUX526THDD Furuno 526TID-HDD 1kW ThruHull
I found an adapter (http://www.osukl.com/NMEA2000_Cabling_Adaptors.htm) that I hope will convert Honda’s nonstandard signal to a NMEA 2000 signal that would allow me to display fuel flow and other engine information on my Furuno system.
If this is indeed the case, where do I insert the adapter cable into my system?
Do I need to purchase the FI-5002 Junction Box?
Thank you!
