Thanks for answering earlier post. I think my circle on calibration was to tight, so it will try that agin. I am getting two messages. On the control head it says: Initializing heading sensor, this takes two minutes. please wait. After 5 minutes it is still there.

I tried messing with some settings and now getting on my 1971 this message: Eror Failed to set the navpilot manual navigation mode.

Are you turning while the control head says initializing?
You could try to do it manually via the PG700. Page 2 of the manual details how to check the mounting location. Page 9 details the manual compensation process.

This shouldn't be the reason for your 180° offset. Are there any pump or magnets near the compass?
