In short, New install and the radar is not recognized?

Networked through a HUB101 and dip switches are turned on for the 3 ports that are being utilized. Just updated the software. I have good voltage to the radome.

On another topic...I am also not getting wind info. 4 new FI70's and wind transducer networked through IF-NMEA2k converter. Turned on NMEA2K PGN's. Selected sources. I can see the IF-NMEA2K on the device list, as well as everything else. Confirmed wiring connections.

Looking for any assistance on where to start to look at figuring this out. Thanks.

Good afternoon Mick,

Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding the DRS4DNXT and the TZT2's, you mentioned that you upgraded the software on the TZT's. Did you perform a master reset after the software was updated? One other questions regarding the network, can you see the other TZT2 on the network or do you not see any other network devices? Couple things to try would be to bypass the HUB 101 and plug the DRS4DNXT into one of the TZT2 units and cycle power, if you can see the radar after this test then i would check your network cables from the TZT 2 units to the HUB 101.

Regarding the FI70's, the analog wind sensor and the IF-NMEAFI converter. It sounds like you verified all the wiring is correct. How many IF-NMEAFI converters do you have on the bus? If there is only one converter on the bus did you tell the IF-NMEAFI what it is supposed to be converting. You will need to tell the IF-NMEAFI unit that it is a wind converter or a tank converter etc, this can be done in the FI70 setup menu. Please refer to 4.6.1 in the FI70 operators manual. If that does not work please let us know and we will come up with a couple other options.

Thank you for the reply.

How do I perform a "Master Reset" on these units? I looked, but couldn't find a procedure to do this?

Yes, I Can see the other TZTL12F on the network. I plugged the network cables from the radar to one of the TZ2's via a crossover coupler, bypassing the HUB101 & cycled power. I still did not see the radar? If you want me to plug directly to the plotter, this will take a lot of time to accomplish, due to the installation.

I set up the FI70 as per the manual and selected the wind for the IF-NMEAFI. It is still not recognizing. I can see the IF-NMEA on the NMEA2k list.

Good afternoon Mick,

Thank you for your response. It would be best to call our tech support line at 360.834.9300 and talk with our light marine technical support department. They will be able to walk you through the master reset instructions.
