1870 vs 1871

Hi, currently have an 1870 and looking to upgrade to 1871. I use accufish 100% of time and run the sonar on manual to use 100% sensitivity. If I run It in auto range, the highest sensitivity auto and 5+ which is usually around 85%. Looking at the 1871 manual it states that accufish can only be run in auto mode so I can’t have 100% sensitivity with the 1871 in accufish mode

Yes, I believe that is correct as you point out from the manual. Maybe another forum member with an GP1871 can verify that on the water.
