1835 AIS and Heading

Will the 1835 Radar display both Class A and Class B AIS targets with full data (as much as each class provides)?

Also, will it accept heading at 10hz, 38.4kb? The manual says that the NMEA ports support 38.4kb, but it is silent about the Heading port. Does it auto baud? I don't see any menu setting to adjust baud rate.

Thanks

The heading port accepts 4800 baud NMEA 0183 or AD10 heading. If running NMEA with the optional ARPA board, the update rate (not baud rate) should be fast (like 25ms). If using ARPA, AD10 heading normally works best. The AIS target info available on screen is exactly as reflected on Para 4-5 of the manual. It will show both class A and B, if the data is being provided by the connected receiver.
