Hi all. I have installed a new autopilot 711c. However,when i press the button AUTO to activate the autopilot function i get the message "Disable ap signal has been received". Any assist...

Either this is a drive by wire steering system that is sending the disable signal or it is a normal pilot that someone has gone into the General IN/OUT setting and changed those settings from default and it is getting something on those wires putting the pilot into disable.
