M Magnetron Guest Sep 21, 2021 #2 The 1830 standalone radar was in production between 1989 ~ 1993, the VX2 came out much later around 2000. There's too many differences between either of them to be compatible together, best to keep them separated out individually IMHO. Hope that helps, - Maggy
