What type of map format does my unit have?

How do I know what type of map card my unit uses? The manual calls out '

Your unit reads SD cards, in the following formats: Navionics GOLD Chart cards or C-MAP
NT+/NT MAX chart cards, depending on the type of display unit you have.

It is normally written on the chart card door cover of the unit. It will say "Navionics Gold" for the Navionics Vx2 unit and C-MAP NT Max for the C-map Vx2. Sometimes the previous owner will have the unit converted to the other chart type so it is normally best to run the self test and provide Furuno the program number to check both the chart type and how old the software is. (MENU - SYSTEM CONFIG - SYSTEM SETUP - TEST & CLEAR - MEMORY I/O TEST - DISPLAY (or processor if BB unit) UNIT TEST)
