Ver 4.0 software for GP1871F/1971F

Hope you are all well.

Is there a ver 4.0 update on the cards for the GP1871F/1971F units? It will be awesome if the data boxes sizes could be made smaller like ver 3.0 when the waypoints and ship icon was made smaller.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will pass it on. I don't know what v4 will offer but if not in that version, it is too late to make it. My understanding is v4 is in the final stages of testing for public release in the next 45 days.

I can't confirm any of that but I have heard the software release plan has firmed up to the end of Feb.
