TztXL 25.21 software update: Remote access for android devices?

Just read through the release notes for the latest software update (25.21) on the TztXLs, and am wondering: what is the plan to support TZ iBoat (or some alternative to the navnet apps) on android devices? With the removal of navnet viewer/controller support, there’s no way to “remote into” or monitor the MFDs from an android tablet or phone, which is one thing we do on long passages (sailboat doing long distance cruising). Totally understand the security concerns and also would really like multi-platform support. Thanks!

The Wifi enabled radar are not exactly new.... They are pretty old tech with wifi added on.

If it must be portable, an Ipad isn't bad, coming from someone who is no fan of the fisher price variety of phones and tablets.
The ipad is bright, long lasting battery, and has many rugged case options.

Lacking that, if you are technically skilled enough, a HDMI - IP encoder would let you locally stream a view of your MFD to VLC.

Oooh an HDMI-ip encoder! Hadn't thought of that. Another cable to run, but could be worth it to be able to view the MFDs without standing in front of them.

Long passages mean we're lounging on the settee or in the cockpit not directly in front of the mfd. Being able to remotely view the MFD from wherever we're sitting is the value of the portability.
