TZtouch3 with SCX20 vs GP-330B

Hi, I would like to check with the TZ touch3 connect to SCx20, is it still necessary to have a external mount GP-330B for Enhance GPS signal? I look at SCX20 and it comes with four Multi GNSS (GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo) antennas.

Any advice much appreciated

Thank you for your inquiry.

The SC20x can provide position and many other dynamic data to the TZT3 system.

You would not need to have a GP330B with an SC20x, however it could be used as a backup GPS sensor if you had one.

I am going to setup the SCX20 in my existing Navnet system with TZTouch (and a lot more) thext weekend, too.

Beside the GP330B, which remains installed as a backup, I also use the PG700. If I got it right, the SCX20 also provides Heading-Data etc like the PG700?

If that is right, the PG700 is also not needed anymore?

Yes the SCx20 can provide heading as well. Yes the PG700 will likely not be needed once the SCx20 is operational. The PG700 could be used as a backup as well.

Thank you for the fast reply. Yes, the PG700 will stay as it is, but disconnected like the GP330B.....otherwise perhaps to much redundant traffic on the bus
