TZT3 using existing transducer M265TH

Hi,

I am upgrading my Axiom to a TZT3. I have an existing ray marine M265TH that works well and would like to use this transducer if possible. Does anyone know if I can wire a Furuno plug on the existing M265TH and use it on the TZT3. This would save installing a through hull Furuno transducer. I notice Furuno does not list the M265 as one of their transducers.

You can most likely use it but will need to select a similar model that is listed which has the same elements. I am confused by the part number you provided. M normally is used for Airmar in-hull transducers (like M260) and TH many times is use to indicate Thru-Hull. Doing an internet search, I don't find that model (M265TH) under any manufacturer. Was it a typo and you maybe meant M265LH? (low/high)

Thanks for the advice Jonny. You are correct, I made a typo and the transducer model is M265LH.

In this instance after adapting the cable, you would use the 1KW:TM265LH setting or the 1kW:B265LH setting in the sounder setup.
