Recently, my right TZT3 has been fairly slow and the touch screen is not working all the time. I can’t change many of the functions like turning on the wireless. I successfully updated to the latest software version of 3.80 but same issues. I noticed there is a lock icon in the top left corner of the display, could this be a lock out of some kind?

Thank you, that was very helpful and solved part of the problem. I knew about and checked the password lock to ensure that wasn’t on but I did not realize there was a dedicated touchscreen button. Now the screen works but the unit still feels slow, it also takes and very long time to boot up (longer than the other TZT3s I have on the network) and I can’t turn on the wireless or create internal network function. I can change between LAN and internal but the button below to actually turn it on is off and wouldn’t turn on.

Sometimes you just have to clean house after using the units for a long time. Back up your settings and waypoint and route data, disconnect the MFD from the ethernet ad NMEA 2000 networks, and go into the Service Manager and do a "hard" reset to factory default. When the unit restarts, it will look like a new out of the box unit. Before you reconnect anything or restore your settings and data, shut it down and reboot. It should be a lot faster. If it isn't, it would be worth repeating the software update procedure and trying again.
My experience has been very good doing the reset, although it is a little frustrating not really knowing what caused the issues.

Where is the setting option for clearing the memory cache? Not sure I ever noticed it.
In the same location as the Factory Default; Delete All Settings within the boot up menu or Service mode. It's one of the options along with Odometer Reset, Clear Unlock Codes, Application, etc.
