Hello everyone, I hope some one can help with my question.
What transducer do you recommend for my fishing,
I fish out of San Diego Ca, offshore tuna fishing, kelps, Coronado islands and the classic rock fishing up to 500 feet deep, thank you for any help.
My MFD is Furuno TZT2 Touch.

What kind of transducer are you looking to utilize for your vessel. Thru-hole, Transom, Etc..?

To my understanding Thru-hole are better, however, I am not opposed to use a Transom one.

For use with your TZT2 and where you intend to fish around Southern California, I would recommend using one of these two transducers:

• 525TID-TMD 1 kW 50/200 kHz (14° x 23° / 3° x 5°-degree beam angles) Transom Mount Transducer with Temperature Sensor that comes with a 10 Meter Cable with 10-Pin Connector.
• 526TID-HDD 1kW 50/200 kHz (20° / 6°-degree beam angles) Bronze Thru-Hull Transducer with Temperature Sensor and fairing block that comes with a 10-Meter Cable with 10-Pin Connector.
