Hello all,
I thought i'd placed a post this morning - I must have pushed the wrong button.
I am a New Zealander, butying from the US.
Will add some details of what I've got and need help with.
I have purchased an old Mako 236 inboard diesel and am having it shipped from New York to NZ - cant wait for it to get here.
I have purchased a 12" TZT2 unit here in NZ.
The boat seller has a M260 transducer with a cut off cable - apparently 6" long.
I am told the M260 is a good match for the furuno - and it's cheap!
I'm hoping someone can tell me can i use a Furuno AIR-033-203 Transducer Extension Cable and a Airmar Inline Cable Splice Kit Ip67 10 Conductor Waterproof. to join it together and then use it on my furuno sounder? if i havent got the right bits and pieces can someone let me know please?
much thanks and i look forward to getting the furuno in and working - for now i'll dredge the forum for guidance.
thanks
