High frequency has quit along with bottom discrimination and accufish.Low frequency works fine marking fish but shouldnt accufish and bottom discrimination work on the low side too if its marking properly?Had 526tid hdd glssed in last year.One day it worked next week it didnt.

NO accufish and bottom discrimination uses both frequencies even if you are only looking at one of them. If you lose a freq; you lose those features.

That is a shame. Those B260 transducers normally last 15 years or more unless someone hits them with something and cracks an element. Sorry to hear that.
 
If it is the ducer should i upgrade to a chirp that fits the pocket mount . i was also wanting to install the dff3d ducer also.
 
boat was lifted off trailer for bottom paint removal and new vc performance epoxy when it happened i believe .31 open contender
 
To run Chirp, you will need the DFF1-UHD. If you are adding it with the DFF3D, they work well together. You might look at the combo transducer options if you go that route.
