TZT14 WiFi Connections

If you have a network with two TZT14s, is it possible to have one set up to create a wireless LAN access point to support a direct connection to an iPad and have the other set up to connect to an external WiFi access point for weather data, etc? Has anyone done this in real life?

I am looking at installing a new TZT based system in my boat and trying to understand how all the features work. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible to have one unit setup to control remotely, and the other setup to get the Wi-Fi weather.
