TZT12LF weather page and charts update

I have connected yesterday to wi-fi with my TZT12LF and tried to get weather info , but i can not get to weather page.
I am not sure is this feature supported in my device?
I tried to follow operation manual but still could not figure out how to get to weather page?

Software version is 2.0.

Another question is it possible and how to do charts update?

That is some seriously old software. The weather service might have changed something over all this time. I highly recommend you update the unit to current software (v6.26).

In my system i have dff3d, b260 and pg 700.

Could you please advice do i have to do updates with this devices connected or disconnected while doing updates?

Does it make any diference?

We recommend you disconnect the NMEA2K drop cable and network cable to the unit when doing the OS update for TZT2, just to make sure nothing unusual happens with the settings of your sensors. If you are doing the "all sensors update" for TZT2, you'll have to keep everything connected because you are updating your sensors.

1.Just to make clear , does this means when doing OS update with micro SD to 6.21 - all should be disconected , and later when using USB flash drive for 6.21 and 6.26 i have to connect everithing to the TZT12F?

2.since i already did update first time with sensors disconected can i just repeat process even my system is already 6.26?

If you're just doing 6.21 and 6.26, I would disconnect the NMEA2K backbone cable and network cable from the back of the units and keep it disconnected till you do the master reset.

I am not sure what you are asking on question #2, if you are already on 6.26, you are on the latest version of software.

I did software update from 2.0 over 6.21 to 6.26 and i think everithing went ok.

My concerne is did i have to have all sensors connected( b260 , dff3d , pg700) at some point during update process and if i did can i repeat process with sensors connected?

No you don't have to them connected while doing 6.21 for 6.26. We encourage you not to connect everything just to prevent any stalls in the updating process of the TZT2.

Now when you mention are there any updates for transducerda b260 or for dff3d?

You wouldn't do a software update on the transducer, you update the sounder software and if you update to 6.26, you'll have the latest update for the TZT2 internal sounder.

1.04 is the latest for DFF3D, you can check the software version on the [sensor list] of the TZT2.

Hi JOhnny! When I go to that page, the 6.26 version isn't there. where can I find that link to update tzt2? I also have tzt1 or the older version so i don't want to upgrade further for now, as long as the tzt1 is connected together (it's at the helm).

A lot has changed since 2020. Hijacking old threads is never recommended.
To get older software like that you would need to get with technical support. Hardware evolved and some newer TZT2 units can't be downgraded at all. This is why it is no longer posted to prevent people from attempting something which might cause them damage. Most that mixed with the older TZT1 did that before TZT3 came along. I recommend calling tech support with the serial number of the TZT2 you wish to downgrade so they can check the age to see if it is even a possibility.

Thanks - didn't mean to highjack anything...just wanted to stay on topic and not start a new thread if not necessary. I spent 1.5 hr with customer support yesterday and they said to upgrade to v6.26 considering my set-up (not downgrade, I'm on 6.21?), so that's why I went online and on this forum. Mostly, to be up to date and try to get the weather to show up because it didn't.
Then I am purchasing the chart upgrade.
And I saw the software upgrade for the network sensor too, which I wanted to to make sure I could do with my set-up, and not mess anything up.
Can you confirm that I can?

There isn't really any difference between 6.21 and 6.26 other than support for CMOR maps, if I recall correctly. Unless you are running CMOR mapping, I don't think I would change anything. The free NavCenter weather should work for you if you have a good established Wi-Fi connection. Going to 6.26 won't change anything in that respect. Yes, if you need to upgrade to 6.26 and still mix with TZT1 6.03; it will work.
