TZT XL 16 to TZT XL 10 Screen Mirroring?

I have the TZT XL 16 inside the pilothouse - it is interfaced to the Avikus Dock II 360 deg view camera system which relies on the 16's HDMI and USB3.0 for mouse control. I also have a TZT XL 10 outside in the cockpit. While I know I can't control the Avikus display due to lack of USB3.0 port on the 10, would I be able to mirror the screen from the 16 to the 10? I know I can WiFi cast to an iDevice, but looking to do it right on the TZT XL 10. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

If the Avikus system has another HDMI output on it you could convert to NTSC/PAL or IP video.

NTSC/PAL: You would need a 3rd party HDMI to NTSC/PAL converter. You will need the optional cable for the TZT10X that has a RCA jack for NTSC/PAL video input, the part number is... 001-647-020-00

For IP video: A HDMI to IP video converter that can be configured per below or the one FurunoUSA offers is the VI-HDMI.

Thanks for those ideas Titanic II!

I thought I'd circle back and share my success in using the Iseevy H.264 HDMI Encoder to accomplish the screen sharing.
Device: Iseevy H.264 HDMI Encoder
  • Resolution: 1920×1080 (1080p)
  • Frame Rate: 30 fps
  • EDID: Stable 1080p mode (RGB or Dell profile preferred)
  • HDCP: Not used / not required
  • Codec: H.264
  • Profile: Main
  • Bitrate: 3200 kbps (3.2 Mbps)
  • Rate Control: CBR (recommended)
  • GOP: 30 (currently)
    • 🔧 Recommended next step: 15 (for lower latency)
  • Protocol: RTSP ✅
  • Transport:(test both)
    • UDP → lower latency
    • TCP → more reliable
  • All other outputs:❌ Disabled
    • TS
    • HLS
    • RTMP
    • MP4
    • Multicast (for now)
Here is a crappy photo showing the Avikus camera streaming to my Pilothouse TZT16XL but also to a Windows 11 laptop running VLC as well as my cockpit TZT10XL successfully. I appreciate having this forum esp. compared to some other marine electronics manufacturers.
