TZ14 / CHIRP / R599

Septimus

Furuno Fan
Hi,

I have noticed that the dropdown box in sounder settings on my TZ14 does not show a "R599" as a transducer option - what is my best course of action?
It looks as though the local Furuno Tech may have selected the "TM-260" from the dropdown box - the sounder has not been performing up to expectations, and I am hoping that there may have been an update, etc, to allow for a Airmar R599 transducer in the set up?
Any advise/directions would be appreciated?

Good afternoon Septimus,

Thank you for your inquiry. Please refer to the following document, I will provide a link below. Please verify all the steps have been taking, pay close attention to page 4 which explains how to setup a transducer such as the R599. It is important to follow the steps and cycle power once the steps have been completed.

Can you please provide some screen shots of the performance of the sounder in use. We would like to know what you are seeing in order to get an idea of the performance loss that you explained.
