two software versions

My buddy in the next slip has two MFD 12 and they are networked.Somehow the slave has
v2.07 and the Master has v2.05.Should I use the Combo or Incremental update on the Master.Should I disconnect from the network to do this what is the procedure.

Thanks but not what I want.Need procedure to update ie remove from network before doing or anything else.

Am going to disconnect the network cables from both units.On Master I am going to use 2.07 comb.then I am going to do 2.11 on the master and then on the slave.Of course I will save necessary data and reinstall after successful upgrade to 2.11
