Turning of sounder function FCV582L

Hi, I have an old FCV582L only use for displaying NAV data. I still have an transducer attached but would like to discount the transducer off this unit. Is there a way to turn off the sounding function of the FCV582L so it is not trying to drive the transducer?

On that unit, there is not. We did not add the standby functionality to devices until much later.
