transfering waypoints

I have a new to me boat with a navnet vx2 looking to upload my file of numbers from garmin home port to a sd card to upload into the navnet?

Hi,

To load waypoints/routes onto a VX2, you will need a 2GB or less SD card. Coming from a Garmin unit, you will need to convert the data to a format our VX2 accepts which is, .RAT or .ROU format.

Normally people use the SEAMARKS pc program to convert but there are other programs like GPS utilities also supports the Vx2 format. If you are a Furuno USA customer and this is a one time conversion to the Furuno; tech support will normally convert the data for you. You would open an official case and attach the file with the request.
