Transducer waterproof?

Hi,

Is the 38BL-15HR fully waterproof including the cable connection point?

As I am considering mounting it externally in pocket or other pole mount option in which the transducer and the cable connection point will be completely underwater for periods of time.

The BL series was designed to be totally submerged.
