transducer 50BL-12R install direction

Hello ,

Can you please advise me which way to face my 50Bl-12R transducer when installing it as I can not locate the info on the furuno site and it does not specify on the supplied operators manual.
And does it have a 9 degree one way and 12 degree the other.

The beam width of the CA50BL-12HR is actually 14 x 18.5 degrees. The transducer length is 150mm by 120mm width. The BW is opposite the size of the ducer, meaning 150mm = 14 degrees and 120mm = 18.5 degrees. Normally the transducer is mounted where the 150mm length is forward/aft.
