trackball assembly

Hello,

I have a RDP-149 and having issues with the trackball. Is replacing the complete assembly something I can do or do I need to send the unit out ? I've tried cleaning it with no luck.Thank you in advance.
 
I recommend your local Furuno dealer. It really isn't something you can do yourself since the case must be torn apart.

If you don't have a dealer nearby; I would recommend sending it to the Furuno service center. You would send the unit to the Furuno Repair Facility with a detailed description of the problem. The Service Center will contact you concerning cost and billing after the unit has been evaluated. Repair time can vary depending on work load and season. Mostly 7-10 business days plus postal time.
