Sounder - Losing bottom

Has anyone else had issues losing bottom with using the internal sounder on the TZtouch2? It is hooked up to a B260 transducer which is installed in the pocket of a 25 Regulator.

This happens at all speeds and in both HF and LF modes. I have done every combination, adjusting gain in manual modes and trying the auto fishing and cruising modes.

Any input is appreciated.

Can you please clarify "losing the bottom". Do you mean the digital depth readout or the actual bottom return on both LF and HF sides. If you mean the digital readout try adjusting the Bottom Level setting from 0 to -20 on both frequencies. If you are seeing gaps in the bottom as the vessel starts to move, it is more water flow issue over the face of the transducer. The characteristics of turbulence is it will attack the LF side first then the HF side as the vessel speed increases. Is that what you are seeing?
