Inverted Echo Sounder Display

I have a NavNet VX2 and the echo sounder display seems to be inverted. (See pics). Anyone have any ideas which setting(s) controls the vertical orientation?

UPDATE 05-27-2024: I have concluded that the 17 year-old transducer is junk. After poking around and maxing out the HF/LF gain, changing bottom offsets, etc,. I noticed that the water temperature data is missing/blank, so I'm thinking a lot of nothing is coming out of that device.

You seem to be on the right path. That "inverted" image is the fish finder changing range in an attempt to find the bottom.
