Software update FCV600 uncertainties

Recently bought a FCV600.
Checked on what software is in the unit by using the Diagnostic test.
Results show the CPU Program as APL 0252483-01.01, APP Loader 0252484-01.01, APP 0252485-02.05, FPGA 0252486-01.01 (photo attached) as the software loaded.
However, these numbers do not neatly correspond to software versions listed on Furuno's website as V1.06, V2.05, or V2.06.
But the APP listing does use the number '2.05' on the later part of that number.
But I don't know if this is related to the 2.05 software listed on Furuno's website, to 2.06 or is unrelated.

I did download the 2.06 update, copied it to a USB drive and went through the process of attempting to do an system update on the unit.
But the 600 did not respond to V2.06 update on the USB.
So I am presuming that v2.06 is on the unit; but I do not know for sure?
If I assume that the 2.05 is related to V2.05, why won't V2.06 install?

Can anyone advise on what version the APL, APP and FPGA number refer to in the unit, or what APL, APP and FPGA numbers come with which particular update?
Or if I have missed something?

Your unit has 2.05 software. The main application (APP) is the number that is referenced.
When upgrading it is important to follow the instructions. https://www.furunousa.com/-/media/s...e/fcv600_800_software_update_instructions.pdf
I don't recommend using a USB any larger than 32GB. When programming I normally find that 4GB or 8GB work best.
Sometimes different media can make a difference. It is very important that the program is unzipped and placed on the USB as described in the instructions. I have programmed our bench units and the process goes very smoothly, normally.
